Programs designed to meet people where they are.

We offer a range of golf programs for beginners through advanced players, including specialized programs for veterans and underserved youth. Every program is intentionally designed to be welcoming and low-pressure, allowing participants learn at their own pace, build confidence, and form meaningful connections within the golf community.

PGA Hope

PGA HOPE

PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is a military program of PGA REACH, the charitable foundation of the PGA of America. Through the game of golf, PGA HOPE serves disabled veterans by supporting their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being.

Juniors
PGA Jr. League

Juniors & Underserved Youth

Project Golf supports young golfers with skills, mentorship, and access to help them grow on and off the course. Through youth programs made possible by generous donors, kids build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging they carry into school, sports, and life.

Learning to golf

Newcomers & “An Intro to Golf”

Project Golf’s newcomers program offers supportive, high-quality instruction in a welcoming, non-intimidating setting. Through six-week, 90-minute sessions held across the Grand Strand, participants learn the fundamentals at their own pace. Equipment is available, and no prior experience is required.

Project Golf 2.0

Players 2.0

Players 2.0 is designed for golfers ready to elevate their game. Participants refine technique, deepen course strategy, and learn how to make smarter decisions—understanding not just how to hit shots, but when and why to play them. It’s about playing with purpose.

FIRST

F.I.R.S.T

Program offers active and retired First Responders a new way to strengthen the mind, body, and spirit through golf. Similar to the PGA HOPE program, this initiative uses golf instruction as a form of therapy, camaraderie, and stress relief, helping participants connect, unwind, and find peace on the fairways

Project Golf member

“I was in a dark, dark place. You lose that sense of self, that comraderie, and PGA HOPE gives you that back. You find that with other vets.”
