Veterans/PGA HOPE
Dedicated to advocating the virtues of golf, PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is a military program of PGA REACH, the charitable foundation of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE introduces golf to Disabled Veterans to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being.
The Program introduces the game of golf through a developmental 6 – 8 week curriculum, taught by PGA Professionals trained in Adaptive Golf and military cultural competency. All programs are funded by PGA REACH and supplemented by PGA Section Foundations – so the cost is FREE to all Veterans.
JUNIORS
Project Golf is dedicated to providing junior golfers with the skills, equipment, and mentorship needed to improve their quality of life both on and off the course. Through our various youth programs, and your generous donations, we are able to continue building a strong foundation for these youths within the sport and their communities. Our programs are designed to address their age and skill level as well as creating learning experience that help kids uncover their inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that they can carry to everything they do.
Introduction to Golf
Project Golf’s program for those that are new to the game provides people with relevant information and top-quality instruction to begin playing. Our six (6) week 90-minute programs are designed specifically to create a comfortable, non-intimidating environment in which our students can learn at their pace and skill level. The programs address all aspects of the game and golf swing. They are offered at various times, once per week, for 6 weeks, at different locations across the Grand Strand. Golf equipment can be provided.
