Dottie Pepper is widely celebrated for her exceptional success on the golf course and her strong presence in broadcasting. As a professional, she claimed 17 LPGA Tour victories—including two major championships in 1992 and 1999 (the latter with a record –19 relative to par)—led the tour in money and was named Player of the Year in 1992, and represented the U.S. in six Solheim Cups.
After retiring from competitive play, Pepper forged a respected career as a golf commentator and analyst for networks including NBC, ESPN, CBS, and The Golf Channel, and was honored with awards such as the Golf Writers Association’s William D. Richardson Award and the GCSAA’s Old Tom Morris Award for her enduring contributions to the game.
